Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using HeyDidYou ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

HeyDidYou is a voice-based reminder and task checklist app for Android. The App allows you to create task groups, schedule reminders with text-to-speech or custom voice recordings, and optionally send SMS notifications to a designated contact when reminders are missed.

Eligibility

The App is intended for use by individuals of all ages. If the App is used by a minor, a parent or guardian is responsible for overseeing and managing their use of the App.

In-App Purchases

The App offers an optional one-time "HeyDidYou Pro" upgrade for $4.99 USD (or regional equivalent), purchased through Google Play. All purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's Terms of Service. Refund requests must be directed to Google Play in accordance with their refund policies.

Free and Premium Tiers

The free tier includes limited functionality (up to 2 task groups, 5 tasks per group, TTS-only voice, 2 nag reminders, and 7-day history). The Pro upgrade unlocks unlimited groups and tasks, custom voice recordings, up to 10 nag reminders, SMS escalation, PIN protection, and full history. Feature availability may change with future updates.

Data and Privacy

All data created within the App is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.

SMS Feature

The missed reminder SMS notification feature sends text messages directly from your device. Standard carrier messaging rates may apply. You are solely responsible for ensuring that SMS recipients have consented to receive messages and that your use complies with applicable laws and regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) where applicable.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is the intellectual property of GH Creation X. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App or any part of it without prior written consent.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that reminders will always fire on time, as device settings (battery optimization, Do Not Disturb, power saving modes) and Android system behavior may affect alarm delivery. You should not rely on the App as the sole means of managing critical or safety-related tasks.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GH Creation X shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill arising from your use of the App. This includes, but is not limited to, damages resulting from missed reminders, failed SMS delivery, or any reliance on the App for task management.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to discontinue or modify the App at any time without prior notice.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
